It's a daily photo workshop plus tours to YOUR favorite sites with a bit of mindfulness mixed in!

Learn via Daily Photo Workshops

Each day, our group will meet in the morning and we'll cover a bit of photo theory and give everyone an assignment for the day. You can then stay with the group or go out of your own. Later, we'll do image review and reflection. Throughout the day, we'll be available for both group and one-on-one instruction. That can be tailored to any skill level, so it doesn't matter if you're a beginner or veteran photographer.

Photograph Your Favorite Paris Sites

After our morning meetups, we'll travel via METRO, bus, UBER, taxi, or foot to that day's destinations, which will include a few favorite spots around Paris (ours and yours). During that time, you can either stay with the group or venture out on your own. And we'll all meetup again later in the day or evening. Each day during our exploration, we'll provide all the necessary transit info for participants as well as the means for staying in contact.

Develop Your Attentional Aperture

During the course of our Exploration, we'll work with any participants who are interested in a concept that Greg calls your "Attentional Aperture." It's about incorporating mindfulness into your photography to help you develop your personal vision and how you see the world. Take your photography to a brand-new level working with the light of Paris. (Here's a recent guest post Greg wrote for Digital Photography Mentor about the subject).

Shift Your Focus: Personal Transformation Through a New Lens

Have you ever stopped to consider that the way we look at and experience our world is often done by default? Did you know that our vision can be strengthened, like a muscle, and when we exercise it, it transforms, changing the way we view our world and ourselves? Each of us perceives our experience through our own unique lens, from our personal vantage points. That lens can be swapped out for others; in this workshop, Robyn will show you how!

This Photo Exploration is limited to 12 participants; sign-up now & don't miss out!

Robyn is a transformational photographer and coach who teaches clients to see their world through a new lens

Robyn Ivy is a professional photographer, visual brand strategist, creative director, speaker, and coach with 20 years of experience helping businesses and individual clients transform themselves by shifting their focus and learning to see their world through a new lens. Her desire to look at things from multiple perspectives has given her the ability to see possibilities, truths, and solutions that remain invisible to others. She brings a deep understanding of what holds people back and brings it into the light so it can be seen and overcome.

In 2016 Robyn created PROJECT 3.8, a compelling campaign to raise awareness for pediatric cancer, after a close friend lost her 8 year old son Dorian to rhabdomyosarcoma. She produced a traveling gallery show of 20 large scale portraits of local children who were either active cancer fighters or survivors. Her mission was to teach people how to "see" childhood cancer differently and the impact it has on so many families.

Prior to making photography her career, Robyn was a avid world traveler. As a teenager she was an exchange student in Germany for a year then later worked with baby chimpanzees in Africa, led German tourists on adventure camping trips in Alaska and beyond, taught English to German students and worked for a year with an anti-hunger coalition in Vermont. In 2001 she became a mom and began the journey of raising her two boys.

Robyn shoots for a wide range of commercial, corporate, and editorial clients as well as entrepreneurs and individuals who want to change the world. Passionate about personal growth, she teaches workshops that bridge the gap between photography and personal transformation through shifting perspectives on our lives. She lives in RI with her two sons.

Each day, we'll meet in the 5th Arrondisemont, a centrally-located neighborhood on the Left Bank

We'll be meeting each at a location TBD in the 5th arrondissement, the "Latin Quarter" of Paris. This area is a "bustling spot filled with locals, tourists, and students, situated on the city's Left Bank. The area is the educational center of Paris and has been since the Middle Ages when the famous Sorbonne university was built. The historic sights here date to various time periods: There is an ancient Roman theater, the Pantheon (an 18th-century mausoleum where historic figures such as Voltaire and Rousseau are buried), the Sorbonne, and the Museum of Natural History nestled in the Botanical Gardens. Bohemian movie theaters, wine shops, produce markets, and cafes also line the streets."
